Welcome to dnartistic. To insure a non-offensive environment for all of the users of our web site, we have established rules for the use of the site. By accessing any areas of dnartistic, you agree to be legally bound and to abide by the rules set forth below.

1) All web site design, text, images, graphics, content, the selection and arrangement thereof, and all software are the property of dnartistic. Any use of materials on this web site -including reproduction, modification, distribution, or republication - without the prior written permission of dnartistic is strictly prohibited.

2) dnartistic is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information, including email addresses that you supply to us in the course of your use of our web site will not be given, sold or rented to any third party. Furthermore, any permission-based contact we undertake with you will provide you with the option to unsubscribe at any time.

3) dnartistic warrants that the results of the analysis of the biological samples provided to us by the customer are correct according to the lab findings, and based upon the origin of the samples provided to us. The customer warrants that the customer is legally entitled to posses the samples provided to dnartistic. The customer agrees to indemnify dnartistic against any loss or damage suffered as a result of the customer providing dnartistic with samples not legally obtained.

4) dnartistic uses a specific tracking system to identify your sample as soon as it enters our secure laboratory. Molecular biologists in charge of your sample do not know who the actual sample belongs to, but only see each sample as a number. This tracking number is associated with your name and contact information only within our secure order entry database that is not accessible by the lab or anyone outside of our company.

5) dnartistic uses a procedure that creates a unique DNA fingerprint. This DNA fingerprint does not provide any genetic information that can be used for identification purposes and holds no medical value. However It is a unique, artistic representation of the customer’s DNA fingerprint.

6) The processing of each sample involves DNA purification and amplification. The DNA is used for the only purpose of creating the DNA artwork. Once processed, each DNA is discarded following a secure protocol except for customers who request to obtain it.

7) This web publication is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. dnartistic will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site or the products purchased using this site, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive and consequential damage. In addition, dnartistic does not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this site is accurate, complete or current.

8) The above stated rules and disclaimers are subject to change by dnartistic in its sole and absolute discretion.

9) This site is created and controlled by dnartistic in Switzerland. The Swiss legislation will govern all terms, conditions and disclaimers on this site, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws.
